Global Sources: Mumbai, now Hong Kong

Asia Quality Focus just returned from the Global Sources show in Mumbai last week. It was a successful turn-out, with nearly 500 buyers coming by our booth for the 3 day event. Many of the buyers were smaller or beginning buyers, but we also saw quite a few top Indian companies, automotive leaders and conglomerates!

Additionally, AQF took part in a conference, talking to over 100
importers about quality control and how to safely source from Asia. As always, we enjoyed meeting importers and sharing our experiences with many.

AQF is now headed off to the following Global Sources shows in Hong Kong.

1.  The Electronics & Components show: from 12th to 15th Oct @booth #1E41.

Furthermore, AQF will be presenting at the “Top 10 Most Common Mistakes Made by Foreign Buyers” round table discussions at 1:15-2:30 on October 14, 21 and 29, in Room 201A. See more info here.

The Hong Kong shows are markedly different from the Mumbai experience; generally more experienced buyers, many more specialized exhibitors and a more professional venue (see below, Mumbai vs. Hong Kong’s Asia World Expo)

While the Global Sources Hong Kong show will be a greater draw for buyers, it will also be much more overwhelming!
